In early 2022, I was tasked with creating a mascot for a Discord community with over fifty active members. We ran a poll that ran for several months and then started designing a dolphin-themed mascot with the server owner.

EMU, a robot dolphin, was designed to represent playfulness, curiosity, and always having friends, no matter how far apart you are.​

He is joined by Rory, an octopus who represents creativity and risk-taking, and Camilla, a sentient palm tree representing the kind, physical embodiment of the server. They helped pioneer a friendly community that has led to many ongoing friendships to this day!
